The Cork Report Tasting Table for December 29, 2023 – More Mixed Bag

With wines from Billsboro, Buttonwood Grove, Harbes, Keuka Spring, Knapp, Living Roots, Modales, Montezuma, Six Eighty, Shared Table, Sheldrake Point, Stinson, and Wagner

I’m trying to write one of these each of the next few days to start 2024 mostly with a clean slate.

Today’s edition is really a mixed bag of non-method champenois sparkling, sauvignon blanc, and white hybrid/native varieties. At least a couple of these wines should have been “Drink This” features. I’ll do better in the new year of not letting them slip through the cracks.

As always, these are short, mostly unedited reviews of wines that I’ve tasted recently — more or less straight from my notebook.

All wines were tasted over the course of 2-5 days, depending.
