Wine of the Day: M Cellars 2021 Pinot Gris
It's great to find balanced, flavorful examples of this often-boring grape
I don’t get excited when wineries send me pinot gris (or pinot grigio, depending on how they label it). Usually, at best, they are brisk, citrusy wines that I guess have utility in the heat of summer, but are rarely more interesting than that.
I’m a pretty opinionated guy (as you know), but I’m also happy to be proven wrong. Wine will always do that.
